Gladiator Tournament August 2016

Karate Academy Capalaba attended their second Gladiator Tournament today hosted by Sports Karate Australia. It was a fun-filled day of competition aimed at our beginner competitors including not only the traditional kata and kumite events but also 'King of the mat', 'Slam', 'Balance Beam' and 'Gladiator'. The day was rounded off with the group competition 'Star Warrior' where teams battled it out to have the last man standing. A special thanks must go to our hosts for putting on such a fun day, and an extra special thanks to the parents and caregivers for bringing the students along. Congratulations to all competitors on your efforts!
